Julie Avellino founded The Muddle Class in 2020 after holding the idea in her head for far too long. 

As a Realtor, founder of the site DivorceGlow, Certified Divorce Specialist with The National Association of Divorce Professionals and a single mother, Julie has had countless conversations with homeowners, divorcing couples and newly divorced/single parents who found themselves struggling financially. 

Many had good jobs and "should" have been doing just fine, but financial missteps, an unexpected setback, shame and an unknowing of where and whom to turn to for sound advice turned what could have been basic financial hiccups into major obstacles. 

Julie created The Muddle Class to take the stigma away from financial questions and hardship. 

The Muddle Class are often tired, hardworking, confused and even frustrated middle class earners who need to get sound advice, feel empowered and most of all feel part of a community of liked minded people who are seeking betterment. 

Like the 1970s sitcom "One Day at Time" taught us, 'hold on tight, we'll muddle through, one day at a time...'
